MISSION STATEMENT OF THE CENTRAL NEW YORK CHAPTER
IRISH AMERICAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE
The Purposes of the CNY-IACI are to promote the understanding and appreciation of all aspects of Irish culture and history, including language, literature, music, other arts, and sports, as well as the contributions of the Irish in our country, for the benefit of all interested individuals in the CNY area. (Note:) CNY-IACI is strictly apolitical and non-sectarian.
The Irish American Cultural Institute was founded in 1962, and the CNY Chapter was formed in 1985, and incorporated as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation in 2011. More info on the National IACI can be found at https://www.iaci-usa.org.
